My Daughter turned 6 and insisted on having a Little Mermaid Pool Party, Which I happily planned for her. It is after all one of my all time favorite Disney movies! Here she is in the outfit we found on Amazon for a steal! She loved it and everyone thought it was so cute.

At the party we had Ariel's free swim in the swimming pool in the yard. Then we played a few games.

The kids dug in the sandbox to find "human" treasures like coins, rings. and beads.

For this game the kids had to guess how many sea shells were in the jar. Closest without going over won.

We also had Sebastian's crab races

Since it was a pool party we had sunscreen and bug spray available for guests to use.

For centerpieces I used fish bowls from the dollar tree and little mermaid bath flounder/sebastian I found on Amazon in a set of 3. I used Ariel on the cake. I then got some purple flowers and  blue plastic basket shred that looked like water. We also put a container of Mermaid Mix (Chex Mix ) on the tables as well for people to snack on.
This centerpiece had a singing Sebastian in it that we found at toys r us. Kids loved it.

Since The Party was in the afternoon we offered snacks and sweets instead of a full meal.

Conch Shells (Bugel's) and Eric's Waves (ruffles chips)

Octopus Dip- Veggie dip with the pepper legs to look like an octopus.

Flounder's Fish friends was a variety of goldfish crackers..
Shark Teeth- White cheese cut into triangles.
Seaweed Dip- Spinach Dip & Bread/Crackers.
Sea Snails- Mini hot dogs wrapped in crescent dough.

For beverages we had this sign above the coolers of pop, juice and water.
We got this shower curtain on Amazon to use as a photo backdrop for the kids.
We made 2 coral reef pieces out of pool noodles and flowers we found at dollar tree and WalMart.
I then used construction paper to cut out little fish shapes, they lead to the bathroom in case anyone asked where it was we said follow the fish school. We used green streamers at the bottom to look like seaweed.

We had a table where the kids could decorate their own fish and hang on the wall too.
I got the table wear from party city.
We ordered the cake and made the stars out of candy melts. we added some sixlet pearls and the Ariel bath toy on top.

We had some yummy cookies to go with the cake.
Sand dollar cookies made with pre-made sugar cookie dough and almond slivers I crushed graham crackers to look like sand

Made with shortbread cookies and homemade shipped cream middle.

Everyone left with a favor.

We used Dove Chocolate Graham Crackers and added a tag saying,  "thank you for swimming by and helping me shellabrate."
Kids got goody bags with a "under the sea bubble"

These bubbles were also inside the bag- tag says "we got no troubles life is the bubbles under the sea"

The kids goody bag had the same tag on it. Also inside was big bubble gum bubbles.

We think everyone had a fun time and our little under the sea princess had a blast!
